Research Interests

I have over ten years of experience researching LGBTQIA+ and Afro-descendant movements, their political relationships, and activism in various contexts. My current focus is on immigration, political action, memory, and activism.

As a researcher and lecturer, I specialize in Queer, Feminist, and Political Anthropology. I have conducted extensive research on activism in Latin America, particularly in Brazil and Colombia, and have recently expanded my interests to include the Iberian Peninsula and Germany, with a focus on Brazilian political action in those regions.
