The Communication Theory and Media Effects Division and the Academic Counseling Service of the Institute for Media and Communication Studies have long-standing contacts in research and teaching as well as a DAAD student exchange with the Noah Mozes Department of Communication and Journalism at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. We are appalled by Hamas' terrorist attacks on Israel and the consequences. We stand with solidarity at the side of the students and colleagues of our partner institute and their families and friends. Three students from our institute were in Jerusalem at the time of the attacks; they have since left the country and returned safely to Germany.
