From January 2016 to December 2018 the project "Media Monitoring" will conduct research on the news coverage of multi-resistant germs and anti-infection strategies in the press, on TV or in other heavily frequented internet resources. The project will be realized with the help of quantitative and qualitative content analyses and will accompany the whole collaborative research project InfectControl 2020. A special focus is put on the topic structure of the information provided, the news coverage of the sub-projects within the collaborative research project as well as the representation of relevant actors and the chronological development of public debates within this group of themes.
