Visiting the BILD
On 25th February 2013 the fellows were guests at the BILD newspaper in Berlin. They visited the editorial offices and took part in the morning conference-call with all external editorial offices. Afterwards they had a Q&A session with the political and economical editor Matthias Kluckert, who gave some details worth knowing about the daily editorial business of the BILD.

Berlinale visit 2013
In February 2013 the fellows of the 14th EJF volume visited the international film festival Berlinale. They watched the press screening of "Pozitia Copilului" (Child´s Pose) and took part in the press conference afterwards. This year fortunately the fellows again watched a movie which was awarded by the international jury. "Pozitia Copilului" won the Golden Bear as best movie.

24th October 2012: welcome dinner for the new fellows
On 24th October 2012, after the first weeks of the beginning of the new EJF-programme, the official welcome dinner took place. In comfortable atmosphere the fellows and the whole EJF-team could exchange opinions and ideas.

Visit of the Chancellor office in March 2012
On 21st March 2012 the fellows visited the Chancellor office. During a guided tour they got to know a lot of interesting details about art and architecture of the house.

Participation in the Federal Press Conference in March 2012
On 9th March 2012 the fellows took part in the Federal Press Conference in Berlin and so could watch how the government speaker Steffen Seibert and the spokesmen of the ministries answered questions to the newest decisions and incidents of the political landscape.

Visit of the Jewish Museum Berlin in March 2012
On 7th March 2012 the fellows visited the Jewish Museum Berlin and took part in the guided tour "Judaism, Christianity, Islam".

Berlinale visit on 17th February, 2012
On 17th February, 2012 the stipendiaries visited the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival and watched the press screening of the movie "Rebelle - War Witch". At the following press conference the stipendiaries had the chance to ask the director, the producer and the actors. Also the leading actress Rachel Mwanza was there, who was awarded with the Silver Bear this year.
