Orientation

The programme begins in October with several orientation events for our new fellows. Among these are tours at the Dahlem Campus of the Freie Universität Berlin, as well as information and sightseeing events. The EJF-Team is happy to answer questions concerning accommodation or dealing with authorities etc. The orientation programme includes also a dinner and other social and cultural events.

Excursions

Excursions are scheduled on a regular basis, giving participants a chance to get acquainted with Berlin and environs, as well as other local scholarly and cultural institutions. This gives fellows the opportunity to form their own opinion about Berlin and its surroundings, and of the German capital’s political and cultural institutions.
