Vera van Hüllen is a visiting professor at the Center For European Integration for the summer term of 2017.

Since april 2013 she is a junior professor for International Relations at the Center for Political Science and Democracy Research at the Leuphana University Lüneburg. In Lüneburg, her research is about international humanrights and regime dynamics in the Near East and North Africa.

Before, she worked as a post-graduate in the Special Research Area 700 "Governance in areas of limited statehood" of the Freie Universität Berlin, where she conducted research about governance teransfers in regional organizations.

She completed her doctorate about international democracy development and cooperation of authoriatarian regimes in 2010 at the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the Freie Universität Berlin.

During her doctorate she was once before employee of the Center For European Integration.

The following classes are being taught at the Center for European Integration in the summer term of 2017. Information in English is only available for those classes taught in english. All other information is provided in German.

• regional integration, regional organisations and comparative regionalism
