Research Unit Peace and Conflict Studies
Our research and teaching incorporate epistemological aspects of knowledge production in peace and conflict research (what can we know/ not know?) as well as comparative empirical studies of armed conflict within and between societies (what do we know/ not know?). We are particularly interested in combining qualitative and quantitative research on the conditions and dynamics of conflict and war with postcolonial and feminist perspectives.
