The research group Policy Assessment of the FFU was awarded for two new contracts with the European Parliament. The team coordinated by Alterra and FFU (Klaus Jacob) is composed of Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam (Netherlands), Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW, Mannheim), Institute of Occupational Medicine, Natural Environment Research Council (United Kingdom), Metis (Austria) and the Stockholm Environment Institute Tallinn Centre (Estonia). The consortia will provide external expertise on policy issues related to impact assessment and European added value in Environment, Public Health, Food Safety, Employment and Social Affairs, and expertise on Methodological and Horizontal Issues of Impact Assessment, Cost Benefit Assessment and European added value testing.
