Effects on the local environment by renewable energy systems-database (LUMEE)

Financial support:

The transition from fossil- and nuclear-based energy supply systems to renewable energy is accompanied by the extension of new technologies such as wind energy plants, solar equipment, biogas- and geothermal plants and hydroelectric power stations.
Often, residents living near planed energy plants concern about possible negative effect on the local environment, but these doubts are often based on a lack of or wrong information. Therefore it is desirable to make the often widely scattered information available for the public.

The FFU submits an expert report on the feasibility of creating a database collecting relevant information on renewable energy systems.
