International Cooperation

The FFU has research, teaching, and study exchanges with universities and think tanks across Europe, North America, Asia, and Latin America. Many international senior scholars, post-doctoral students, and graduate students spend anywhere from several weeks to a semester or full year conducting research at the FFU. The FFU has been host to a large number of Fulbright, DAAD, and Alexander von Humboldt fellowship recipients. Visiting foreign scholars and graduate students are welcome to participate in FFU research seminars, brown-bag lunches, and special events. Generally, visiting researchers also present their research to the FFU community.

Many FFU research and applied projects are conducted with international research partners, including universities, think tanks, governments, and corporations. International research projects range from short, highly focused projects to multi-year, inter-disciplinary, and multi-national initiatives. The international research activities and exchanges enrich not only the working environment of our staff but also our students.
