Rainer Quitzow presents research on lead markets for environmental innovations in China
During a research visit to China, Rainer Quitzow presented his ongoing work in the BMBF-funded project "Lead Market Strategies: First Mover, Early Follower, Late Follower".

He delivered presentations at the Institute of Policy and Management at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Energy, Environment and Economy Research Institute at Tsinghua University and at the Institute of Industry, Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection, a think tank serving the Ministry of Information Industry Development (MIIT). With fellow scholars in the field, he discussed evolving conceptual work on strategies for promoting environmental innovations as well as emerging results from a comparative analysis of policy and market developments in the solar energy sector in China, India and Germany.
