Svenja Fox, M.A., studied „Public and Private Environmental Management“ at the Research Centre for Environmental Politics. She worked as a teaching assistant for Prof. Dr. Miranda Schreurs and was involved in the conference management of the „Berlin Conference 2010“. Svenja is also part of the project team of the "SchülerUni Sustainability + Climate Change". Within the research network "German-Indian Sustainability and Climate Change Dialogue", Svenja is working on regional cooperation in mountain ecosystems (Himalaya region).
Svenja Fox graduated from the universities of Saarbrücken and Metz with a BA in "Transborder Communication and Cooperation" in 2009 and did research in Berlin (internship with the Öko-Institut Berlin), Benin and the Caucasus region. During a research stay at the Institute for Environmental Studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Svenja worked on distributional equity.
Her research interests include biodiversity, water management and agricultural policy, as well as regional cooperation, collective action, and local institutions.
Furthermore, she is involved in projects on environmental education and is an ambassador for the UN Decade on Biological Diversity 2011-2020 "http://www.un-dekade-biologische-vielfalt.de/1914.html".
