Betreuer / supervisor

Prof. Dr. Miranda Schreurs

This research project seeks to question whether new landscapes are being carved in India’s environmental governance, those that are moving away from traditional hierarchies of government systems to a mix of different actors and stakeholders towards a more networked form of governance. The purview of this project is to identify the mechanisms of influence that explain a distinct processes of policy formulation which are identified first as norm diffusion through regimes - specifically the role of policy entrepreneurs and framing exercises, cultural and institutional structures-, second as domestic actors within the Advocacy Coalition Framework.
