Magdalena Rodekirchen, born 1992, has been a student of the BA Political Science at FU Berlin/Otto-Suhr-Institute since winter term 2011/2012. Her focus lies in resource and developmental policy, and regional policy analysis.
She worked as a student assistant for the German Parliament (Deutscher Bundestag), where she completed several internships, too. Magdalena took part in different international programs, including to South Africa, India, Canada and Eastern Europe. She took part in an exchange program with the McGill University in Montréal, Canada, for which she received a DAAD-scholarship. She is currently writing her thesis on land grabbing and its impact on food security of the local population.
Since April 2013 Magdalena has been a student assistant at the FFU.
