Magdalena Rodekirchen has worked for the FFU since March 2013, first as a student research assistant for the research group Policy Assessment and now as a contractor. She studied Political Science at the Freie Universität Berlin and McGill University in Montreal. Her focus lies on environmental and development policy with special regard to gender relations. In September, she is going to pursue her MSc International Development: Environment and Climate Change at the University of Manchester.
She previously worked for the umbrella association Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Eine-Welt-Landesnetzwerke (agl), as a student assistant for the German Bundestag and completed different internships, for instance, at the non-governmental organization Weltfriedensdienst e.V. and Um Teto Para Meu País (TETO) in Brazil.
