The Gerhard Kiersch Verein e.V. (AGKV) was founded in 1995 and is named after Prof. Dr. Gerhard Kiersch, a political scientist specializing on France, who died in 1994 and initiated cooperation between Sciences Po Paris and the Otto-Suhr-Institute.

The AGKV, situated both in Paris and Berlin, helps in creating a network of students and alumni of the program. A large number of alumni of the Franco-German program now work on the international and European level, giving the AGKV access to political, economic, social and cultural circles in Europe and internationally. This network can be of great help in providing contacts for our current students.
