Affine Modules

What are affine Modules?

Students of the BA Political Science course have the opportunity (second amendment 2010 and BPO 2012) to choose affine modules with a value of 10 or 20 credits and have these accredited towards their study achievements. They should, in complementing the modules of compulsory areas, provide the student with an enhanced, self-contained professional profile. Affine modules are indicated along with the number of credits on the final degree certificate.

Students of the BA Political Science programme (2006) have the chance to take an affine module as a voluntary additional course to their study programme. According to the Study regulations from 2006 affine modules will not be recognised and will also not be shown on the final degree certificate.

Students of other study programmes who wish to take the subject of Political Science as an affine module may take courses from the 60 LP Modulangebot Politikwissenschaft (German page) offered in line with the allocation agreement.
