Master’s Programme in East European Studies

The Master’s programme in East European Studies is offered by the Institute for East-European Studies (standard length of study: 4 semesters).

Object of the Programme

The Master’s programme in East European Studies enables graduates with a bachelor or equivalent undergraduate qualification to extend their knowledge of the subject by specialising in states and societies of Eastern, Mid-Eastern and South-Eastern Europe. It offers broad theoretical, social and economic skills concerning the region of Eastern Europe. The programme is also combined with the acquisition East European languages, in addition to professional skills and abilities. It is cross-disciplinary and relevant to the present day matters.

After successful completion of studies the title “Master of Arts (MA)” will be awarded.
