Master's programme in Social and Cultural Anthropology

The consecutive Master’s programme in Social and Cultural Anthropology is offered by the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology (standard length of study: 4 semesters).

Object of the Programme

The programme offers an intensified interaction between fundamental theoretical questions which must be examined in the context of global and trans-national integration on a micro- and macro-level.

It qualifies graduates to analyse and differentiate complex social configurations and processes from different perspectives.

After successful completion of studies the title “Master of Arts (MA)” will be awarded.
