Prof. Dr. Wolfram Schrettl is the head of the working area Economics at the Institute for East-European Studies of the Free University. He is dealing with the economics in Eastern Europe and especially in Russia. He has contacts of many years to several institutions in the region, such as the Higher School of Economics in Moscow.
W. Schrettl’s main areas of interest are the miscellaneous facets of investment activities in the region, the Russian-European relations and the integration of Russia into the global economy. Thereby, questions related to energy play a central role.
