Anja Lutz is a researcher at the NFG-Research Group on “Asian Perceptions of the EU”. She completed her Bachelor in South Asian Studies and Political Science at Heidelberg University, focusing on the politics and economics of India and wrote her thesis on the role of energy security in the Sino-Indian relations. During her Masters in International Relations at the London School of Economics, her main interests were on the reasons for peace and conflict and the role of security in international politics from a Critical Theory perspective. Anja has worked for think tanks in India and Germany, researching on issues of civil society participation, inter- and intra-state conflicts and international relations in the Asia-Pacific region. Within the NFG Research Groups, she works on the role of export controls in India.
