Requirements
In order to apply for a postdoctoral fellowship at the Research College, your dissertation should be submitted until September 30, 2011 (defence may be later). Apart from that, please consider the further needed material stated in the respective call.
Research Area
Your focus as a postdoctoral fellow should match with the research areas and - approach of the Research College. We particularly encourage applications on projects in the field of comparative regionalism.
Field of Study
Research at the KFG is not limited to the field of Political Science; applicants with a background in other disciplines are welcome to apply. However, your research focus should fit into the KFG's research areas.
Nationality
Of course, the Research College is open to all nationalities. International candidates are welcome to apply!
Relevant Material
By "relevant material", we mean important documents such as copies of diplomas, job references, certificates, prizes etc.
Form
There are no specifications regarding size or layout of your proposal.
Deadline
In order to accept the application, please respect the postmark date.

Transport from Tegel Airport
From Tegel airport, take the X9 bus outside the terminal in the direction of S+U Zoologischer Garten. Exit at stop “U Jakob-Kaiser Platz” and board the subway line U7 in the direction of Rudow. Exit at the stop “Fehrbelliner Platz” and change to the U3 in the direction Krumme Lanke. Get off at U Thielplatz. Travel time is around 30 minutes.
Transport from Schönefeld Airport
From Schönefeld airport, take the SXF1 bus outside the terminal in the direction of Südkreuz Bnf. Exit at Südkreuz Bnf and change to the S41 Ringbahn towards Heidelberger Platz (this train goes clockwise around the ring). Exit at Heidelberger Platz and change to the U3 in the direction of Krumme Lanke. Get off at U Thielplatz. Travel time is around 50 minutes.

Bewerbung, Studentische Hilfskräfte
Grundsätzlich können sich alle Studierenden bewerben, die an einer Berliner Hochschule, der Universität Potsdam oder der Europa-Universität Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) immatrikuliert sind. Voraussetzung ist, dass es sich um eine staatliche Hochschule handelt, weswegen anderweitige Bewerbungen (z.B. von Studierenden der Hertie School of Governance) nicht berücksichtigt werden können.Die weiteren Voraussetzungen sind der jeweiligen Ausschreibung zu entnehmen.
Achtung:
Promotionsstudierende sind von der Bewerbung ausgenommen.
