The Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology offers an innovative Masters (M.A.) program in Visual and Media Anthropology. The emphasis is placed on distance learning online, which allows course content to be easily conveyed and supplemented by other media. The course units will be presented online. However, there are also four mandatory in-house classes at the Freie Universität Berlin.
