From April to May 2022 the Division Media Use Research is glad to host Dr. Sanna Malinen from the University of Turku (Finland) as a guest researcher. Her ongoing research looks into gatekeeping in social media and how the moderation of political opinions contributes to the deliberative quality of discussion. During her visit she is looking forward to learning new views and tools for analyzing and understanding the role that today's social media applications play in receiving and spreading political information.
