FFU researchers discussed on 06.09.19 two papers at the ECPR conference in Wroclaw. These based on two third-party funded projects: the EU-Horizon2020 project WinWind, coordinated by FFU as well as the project SOTEC-radio funded by the German Ministry for Economic Affairs. The panel prepared by the Norwegian Center for International Climate Research- CICERO and FFU was entitled "Local Environmental Concerns vs Climate: Increasing Societal Polarisation in Energy Policy" and was chaired by Rosaria Di Nucci (FFU).

Ana M. Isidoro Losada provided a presentation on "Acceptance and Acceptability of Major Energy Infrastructure Projects - The Socio-Technical Analogues Perspective". The paper was elaborated in the frame of the SOTEC-radio project by Ana M. Isidoro Losada, M. Rosaria Di Nucci and Dörte Themann.

Merethe Dotterud Leiren (CICERO, Norway) discussed the results of an online survey conducted within the framework of the WinWind project coordinated by the FFU. The title of the presentation was: "Social Acceptance-Related Patterns of Wind Energy in Six European Countries". Maria Rosaria Di Nucci and Michael Krug were involved in the preparation of the paper.

Furthermore, Michael Krug and Dörte Ohlhorst (TU Munich) presented a paper on "Community Acceptance of Renewable Energy Plants: The Role of Nature Conservation in the Concert of Acceptance Factors" which they developed as part of WinWind and AcceptEE, a project funded by the German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation.
