In cooperation with: Institute for Future Studies and Technology Assessment (IZT)

On behalf of the German Bundestag, the FFU, in collaboration with the Institute for Future Studies and Technology Assessment (IZT), provides an expert opinion on “Institutions and Procedures of Parliamentary Sustainability Policy”. The aim of the report is to identify potentialities for the strengthening of sustainability policies in Germany and notably in the German Bundestag.

Based on a preliminary study conducted by the IZT, deepening case studies on the status quo of selected parliaments’ sustainability policies will be prepared. In addition to that, the institutional and procedural aspects of the Bundestag’s sustainability policy will be assessed in order to systematically analyze the findings and draw upon them when formulating concrete policy recommendations for the strengthening of sustainability policy in the German Bundestag.
