New publication: “Trade and the environment. Frameworks and methods for impact assessment"
Johanna Ferretti, Anna-Lena Guske, Klaus Jacob and Rainer Quitzow published a study on existing frameworks and methods for environmental impact assessment in the context of trade-related development cooperation.

The study entitled "Trade and the environment. Frameworks and methods for impact assessment" was commissioned by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on behalf of the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and was published as FFU Report in October 2012.
The study provides an overview of available frameworks and methods for environmental impact assessment, analyzes their usability in the context of trade-related development cooperation and illustrates their application by providing good practice examples. On this basis, the study aims to contribute to the improvement of the practice of environmental impact assessments of trade-related policies and programs.
