Conrad Kunze has been a researcher and scholar at the FFU since 2017. He studied History and Sociology in Granada, Halle and Cottbus and wrote his dissertation from 2009 to 2011 on the regional political implementation of renewable energy projects in rural areas. 2009 to 2012 he also taught Environmental Sociology for the Program „Master of Environmental Governance“ in Cottbus. 2012 to 2013 he worked at the Office for a democratic transition to renewable energy in Berlin as well as in a freelance capacity for the Luxemburg Foundation Brussels. 2013 to 2014 he was a senior researcher and teacher at Freiburg University and 2014 to 2016 senior researcher at the UFZ Centre for Environmental Research in Leipzig. In 2016 and 2017 Dr. Kunze completed a Sabbatical as a volunteer for VVN-BdA Berlin.
