The Otto Suhr Institute offers a consecutive master's program in political science gender studies with a focus on intersectionality.
The master's program “Gender, Intersectionality, and Politics” not only deepens theoretical and methodological knowledge in the field of gender studies, but also provides solid expertise on the structural, ideological, and normative foundations of gender and diversity policy in various social, institutional, and political contexts. The program enables students to operationalize the category of gender for the intersectional analysis of political processes, interactions, structures, and institutions in transnational contexts and to apply it in research practice. The additional opportunity for interdisciplinary and transregional deepening of knowledge also enables an interdisciplinary expansion of political science research skills.
