Europe is facing a make-it-or-break-it moment. The internal conflicts have never been so huge, the external pressure on the EU and its members has never been so great. We are in a systemic conflict with authoritarian regimes like China and Russia. In this book the renowned European expert and policy advisor Dr. Daniel Schwarzer analyses convincingly: Cohesion and the ability to act must be strengthened internally and after clarifiying its interests, Europe must be much more strategic in its external relations. The challengers are not going to rest. Dr. Daniela Schwarzer expresses what politicians rarely say with such clarity: We still have the chance to shape our future but who knows for how long. Willling states should move forward together, instead of wasting their energy on troublemakers.
