André Weißenfels is a research assistant at the Center for Middle Eastern and North African Politics and a PhD fellow at the Berlin Graduate School for Muslim Cultures and Societies. His current research is an ethnographically inspired study of an electronics factory in Tunis. André studies the everyday experiences of employees and analyzes how they relate to institutional frameworks of the factory. His main research interests are: Economic Epistemologies, Bureaucratization, Knowledge-Power-Problematics.
