Related e.V.
related e.V. is a group of pupils and teachers from Berlin Neukölln. They oppose the stigmatisation of so-called ‘problem schools’ and aim to share what it really means to learn and teach at such schools. For us, the central issue here is educational equity – that is, fair educational and life opportunities regardless of a person’s background or privileges.
The Department of Political Education, Education for Sustainable Development and Transformative Education is collaborating with related e.V. as part of the FUTURIST project “The Future is Now: Real-world laboratories for a diversity-sensitive and sustainable teacher training programme”.
Sustain It! Sustainability and Climate Protection at Freie Universität Berlin
The department collaborates with the participatory initiative Sustain It! Sustain It! is an action-oriented and participatory initiative for anyone who wants to help shape Freie Universität and Berlin in a sustainable and future-proof way through their own ideas and projects. Students and PhD candidates from a wide range of disciplines are involved, as well as professors, research assistants, artists and cultural practitioners, environmental activists, and young and older professionals from the university and wider urban community. What unites us is that, since 2010, we have been putting the idea of a socio-ecological transformation into practice through educational and action-based formats right here on our campus.
The research group is interested in alternative forms of knowledge production and learning culture and is always open to exchange and collaboration with practitioners and academics.
