The Center focuses on socio-ecological transformation and looks at the question of how societies can be made more sustainable under the conditions of man-made climate change from a political didactic perspective. This includes questions of equality and intersectional inequalities as well as their role in educational processes. In this context, the role of civic education as a social responsibility and how it interacts with other interdisciplinary educational approaches also becomes a subject of research.
