Each semester for the last three years, Journal 360º has published the academic papers of students in its issues. In issuing the award Rolf Dobischat, the president of the German Studentenwerk, praised this involvement as, "central to German academic culture." The prize money of 2,500 Euro is going to be used towards publication of the upcoming issue, which is organized around the theme of "War and Peace."
Simultaneously, the volunteer editors, including FFU employee Lena Strehlow, are preparing the next issue's Call for Papers, to be issued by the end of January, which will address the issue of "sustainability."
