The article entitled "Towards an integrated approach to promoting environmental innovation and national competitiveness" (Innovation and Development, Vol. 3, Issue 2, pp. 277-296) provides a review of current debates on innovation-oriented environmental policy, on the one hand, and the role of industrial policy in promoting national competitiveness, on the other. On this basis, it explores a number of policy options for integrating the two policy domains both in industrialized and emerging countries.
