On Monday, 28.10.19, the last German Stakeholder desk of the WinWind project took place in Potsdam, hosted by the Economic Development Agency Brandenburg (WFBB). The project, coordinated at the FFU, presented preliminary results ranging from rated drivers and barriers of wind energy to good practices and transfers between project regions.
The meeting was followed by a thematic workshop, focused on transferable lessons from service and dialogue agencies as intermediary organisations to increase acceptance for wind energy development. The discussion touched upon methods to gain visibility and trust as service unit in order to become visible for market actors such as municipalities and project developers but also citizens. It then centered on the diversity of roles such an intermediary organisation is asked to fulfill, such as citizen counseling as well as policy advice.
About 35 participants attended the workshop, many of whom had accompanied WinWind's progress from it's early stages.
