Konstantin Teytze

Konstantin Teytze is Professor of Geoecology and Ecological Chemistry at the Deartment of Geosciences, Free University of Berlin and serves as Deputy Head of Section „Soil Ecology and Soil Quality” in the Federal Environmental Agency. He has conducted manifold research projects in the fields of environmental chemistry, ecotoxicology, geoecology and soil ecology. His works deals with risk assessment and environmental quality as well as the standardization and harmonization of analytical methods for environmental quality (DIN, ISO methods). Since 1997 Konstantin Terytze also is technical assessor for analytical chemistry and ecotoxicological methods. He is experienced in the organization of quality systems, especially of metrology in chemistry and trains persons on the requirements for inspection bodies and certification bodies.
