Nidhi Sharma is pursuing her masters in Environmental Science and Resource Management from The Energy Research Institute (TERI University), Delhi. As part of the FFU/TERI Sustainable Development and Climate Change Dialogue, she will be researching on community level contribution in developing their village as bioenergy village and the biomass policies which encourages them to do so. She will perform interviews with stakeholders from NGOs, Government and Community in Germany. Conducting field trips to the bioenergy villages in order to gain understanding of role of community in biomass strategy. Learning the best practices which India can adopt for rural electrification considering bio-energy options.
