The Open Conference of the International Relations Section of the German Political Science Association (DVPW) took place this year from September 21–23, 2026, at Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg. It brought together scholars from various fields of international relations and provided a space for exchange, discussion, and networking. Prof. Lena Partzsch presented her paper, co-authored with PD Dr. Wolfgang Haupt (Leibniz Institute for Spatial Social Research—IRS), titled “There is no planet B: Urban accountability for contested global climate norms.”
