Mirjam Dageförde is a Researcher and Lecturer at Freie Universität Berlin, Institute for Sociology, and a Research Associate at Sciences Po Paris (CEE & LIEPP) as well as at the Centre Marc Bloch (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin).

She was awarded a PhD from Sciences Po Paris. She was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence and an OxPo Fellow at the University of Oxford, Nuffield College.

Her background is interdisciplinary, holding degrees in Political Science, Economics and Empirical Social and Political Analysis. Her current research focuses on the relation of citizens and politics, comparative politics, social psychology, representation, political behavior, public policies and methods.
