Due to the current corona pandemic, the winter semester will start on the 2nd of November 2020.
Based on the current state of planning, the winter semester 2020/2021 will partially be online and partially take place on-site (first semester students will be prioritised for on campus courses). In case of visa restrictions, it will also be possible to choose classes that are offered online only.

Please note that no office hours can take place on site and that the Institute of Sociology remains closed for the time being.
How to access literature from outside the Campus?
Connect to the Virtual Private Network (VPN) of Freie Universität Berlin:
1. Download the software “AnyConnect Client” (https://www.zedat.fu-berlin.de/VPN - choose your respective operating system)
2. Click on the AnyConnect-Icon. Choose the name of the VPN-Server (vpn.fu-berlin.de), then click connect.
3. Enter your username and password and press ok.
