Elin Hellquist (KFG postdoctoral fellow 2012/2013) has been awarded a 3-year research grant from the Swedish Research Council. Her project, entitled “Varieties of Punishment: Regional Sanctions in Theory and Practice”, sets out to explain differences in approaches to negative sanctions of four regional organisations: the European Union, the African Union, the League of Arab States, and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. The project will start during the spring of 2014 and be co-hosted by the KFG and the Department of Political Science at Stockholm University.
