Monica Williams is a veteran journalist from the United States. She's worked as a staff editor at The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe and the Joong-Ang Daily in Seoul. Her work also has appeared in National Geographic, The Washington Post, The Independent (U.K.) and South China Morning Post.

In 2025-26, she was a fellow at the Reynolds Journalism Institute at the University of Missouri. As a fellow, she developed Grants for Journalists, a database and resources created to make journalism funding easier to find and secure.

During her last visit to Germany (2017), she presented at Justus Liebig University Giessen a research paper on cyber harassment and support services for female journalists.
