Energy efficiency policy in case of promotion for Combined Heat and Power (CHP) in Germany and South Korea


Combined Heat and Power (CHP) policy in the future is a touchstone in which the implementation of climate change and resource conservation is considered in policy making seriously. The promotion of CHP in Germany and South Korea in area of conflict between climate change and liberalization of energy economy is analyzed in this study. The main research question is how CHP policy in Germany and South Korea has been developed concerning framework conditions and policy target. This main research question is based on the analysis of four factors as follows: framework conditions, actors, political motivation and policy style in CHP policy making. The research method of study is policy-analysis besides environmental economics theory.
