Zhao Guangrui is an Associate Professor at the School of Government of Nanjing University and a Researcher at Collaborative Innovation Center of South China Sea Studies. His interest covers international relations, German history and culture, comparative nationalism, European integration, Chinese diplomacy. He has a Ph.D in international politics from Peking University (2006-2011), and received Bachelor of Arts in international politics from Nanjing University (2004). He studied at the Institute of Political Science of Tübingen University as Ph.D candidate from September 2008 to September 2010. He is conducting the research on “The Historical Development and the Tradition of German Studies of International Relations History” in Otto Suhr Institute of Political Science.
