The German Political Science Association (DVPW), the Austrian Society for Political Science (ÖGPW) and the Swiss Political Science Association (SVPW) hosted the Dreiländertagung at Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen from June 17 to 19, 2026. Jakob Pegels presented recent findings of the Research Project: “How EU money is spent. Mapping institutional features of spending governance“, while Taylor Pearce and Miriam Hartlapp fielded questions from the audience. The findings, showing differences in competence and control between industrial and social policy spending, were discussed alongside presentations from other researchers of the Reconfiguring Europe Research Unit.
