Die Earth System Governance Conference fand dieses Jahr zum Thema „Building just and sustainable futures for planetary integrity“ vom 7. bis 11. September an der University of Bath statt. Prof. Dr. Lena Partzsch organisierte eine Serie mit vier Paneln zum aktuellen Stand von Lieferkettengesetzen in Konsum- und Produktionsländern. Sie eröffnete die Serie als Chair des Panels „Alternatives to multilateralism? Lessons from a decade of supply chain legislation”, war Discussant im Panel „Supply chain legislation in Europe: Implications for corporate practice and accountability” und stellte mit Prof. Michael Mason (London School of Economics and Political Science - LSE) das gemeinsame Paper „EU and UK legislation on deforestation-free supply chains: Conditions for effective implementation in exporting countries” vor. Zudem stellte Prof. Partzsch ihr Paper „Sustainable mining? Corporate accountability for the green SDGs” im Panel “Accountability and the Sustainable Development Goals at the global-national nexus”, organisiert von Dr. Thomas Hickmann und Prof. Dr. Magdalena Bexell (beide Lund University), vor.
