PUSdEP
Between the Center for History and Political Ethics (PUSdEP) of Sanata Dharma University Yogyakarta and the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology as well the Cluster of Excellence “Languages of Emotion” of Freie Universität Berlin, exists an intensive interaction in the field of addressing and empowering marginalized voices in Indonesia and East Timor by integrating them into public and academic discourses. Main academic disciplines involved are history, political science, social and cultural anthropology, psychology, and cultural studies.
The purpose of the collaboration is to further expand upon the pre-existing synergetic cooperation between these institutions in the following areas:
- Jointly organized scholarly events such as symposia and summer schools
- Research exchanges for doctoral or post-doctoral students
- Each academic year, university personnel in the areas of teaching and/or research shall be temporarily exchanged between the respective partner institutions in Yogyakarta/ Indonesia and Berlin/ Germany
- Graduate students who have successfully completed their BA-programmes will be selected for participation in an exchange programme between the aforementioned institutions
