Through its degree programs B.A. and M.A. Social and Cultural Anthropology, as well as its graduate program in Visual and Media Anthropology, the Institute offers students excellent university-level training grounded in current debates within the discipline and topics of contemporary global concern. On the following pages, you can learn more about the members of our faculty and their thematic and regional areas of interest and expertise, as well as the seven research areas—Anthropology of Emotion, Medical Anthropology, Environmental Anthropology, Visual and Media Anthropology, the Disaster Research Unit and Anthropology of Religion—that represent the overarching research emphases of our institute.
