Dear staff and students of the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology,

We would like to warmly invite you to the upcoming general assembly in response to the impending budget cuts—and the associated, significant impact—on the teaching and research activities at the institute:

When: Thursday, June 12, from 10:00 to 12:00
Where: Seminar Center of the FU, Room L115

The purpose of the meeting is to bring everyone up to date on the developments since the last extraordinary Institute Council meeting on May 28 (e.g., at the FSI, institute, faculty, and university executive levels).

In addition, we would like to discuss what concrete strategies and actions we want to plan in the coming weeks to effectively oppose the threatened cuts.
